Our Ridge clutch kit works with or without the Kawasaki ECM update, it corrects the freewheeling some are experiencing after the ECM update and restores some of the performance that is lost with the update, it also eliminates the jerky belt engagement, lowers RPMs and increases top speed in high and low gear.

You need to adjust belt deflection on the Ridge periodically as the belt wears by adjusting the amount of shims in the secondary clutch, your Kawasaki dealer should have shims in various thicknesses Click HERE for the Service Manual page on Belt Deflection
